Meditating While Thinking

I had a key insight recently. You can concentrate on system 2 streams of thought while practicing non-dual meditation. This solves the issue of concentration practices meant to evoke peak emotional states being distracting and biasing, and dzogchen without concentration being aimless.

I find it helpful to recognize that verbal reasoning is experientially similar to the sound of a melody that is “stuck in our head” but not actually playing.

Now that I have a way to combine thinking and meditation, I’m excited to start treating proper thinking as a form of meditation.
